Meet Our Team

Kirsty grew up in North Yorkshire and started ballet at her local dance school, Kirkham Henry Performing Arts. Under the expert tutelage of Angela Kirkham, Kirsty’s passion for ballet grew and she went on to train at The Royal Ballet School, White Lodge and Northern Ballet School in Manchester. After graduating with a Diploma in Professional Dance she gained both a First Class Honours degree and a Licentiate from the Royal Academy of Dance, and is a registered teacher with the organisation.

Kirsty has over ten years of teaching experience and has taught at private ballet schools, independent schools, full time ballet institutions and on associate programmes. Over the course of her teaching career Kirsty has entered hundreds of children for ballet exams, choreographed and rehearsed shows and had numerous students accept places at vocational dance schools, including The Royal Ballet School, Elmhurst School of Ballet and Central School of Ballet. As part of her work at The Ballet School Notting Hill, she ran Ballet in a Box, an extension of London Children’s Ballet that provides children with the opportunity to tour a short narrative ballet in their local community.

Having known Hilary Marston since 2017, Kirsty was honoured to take on her school in Milland in 2025 and hopes to continue the inspiring and nurturing school for many years to come.
